Safety Guidelines

Important safety information for handling and transporting propane tanks.

Always Keep Tanks Upright

Propane tanks must remain upright during transport and storage. TankTote's design ensures proper vertical positioning at all times.

Close Valve Before Moving

Always ensure the tank valve is fully closed and the safety cap is in place before lifting or transporting your propane tank.

Inspect Before Each Use

Check TankTote straps and handle before every use. Look for signs of wear, cracking, or damage. Replace worn straps immediately.

Ventilate During Vehicle Transport

When transporting propane in a vehicle, keep windows cracked for ventilation. Never leave a tank in a hot, enclosed vehicle.

Important Reminder

Always follow local regulations for propane transport and storage. If you smell gas or suspect a leak, move to a safe area and call your local fire department. Never attempt to repair a damaged propane tank yourself.
